At the conclusion  [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="paragraph">&#8203;Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 48-year-old Lake Peekskill, NY resident, who is charged with Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.<br />According to Police, on April 26, 2026 Yorktown Police responded to a residence in Yorktown on a reported Criminal Trespass. A caller reported that an unidentified male had entered their neighbor&rsquo;s residence. It is alleged that the defendant did enter and remain unlawfully inside the residence of the victim. At the conclusion of the investigation, the suspect was identified as the defendant and it was determined that there was probable cause to make an arrest.<br />On May 8, 2026 the defendant was driving in Yorktown when a traffic stop was conducted. The defendant was placed under arrest and brought back to Yorktown Police Headquarters for arrest processing. The defendant was processed on the above charge and brought to the Yorktown Justice Court where he was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Aviah Cohen-Pierson. It is alleged that the defendant passed a $100 counterfeit bill at the above loc [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="paragraph">&#8203;Yorktown Police report the arrest of a twenty-two-year-old Albany, GA resident on an arrest warrant for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st, a class &ldquo;C&rdquo; Felony.<br />&nbsp;<br />On January 23rd, 2026 the Yorktown Police Department took a report of a forgery complaint from 2001 Commerce St., in the Town of Yorktown. During the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as the defendant. It is alleged that the defendant passed a $100 counterfeit bill at the above location with the intent to defraud the store clerk. Yorktown Police then applied for and received a warrant for the defendant&rsquo;s arrest. On 03/02/2026 Yorktown P.D. was advised by Highland Falls PD that they had custody of the defendant. Officers responded to Highland Falls PD&rsquo;s location and placed the defendant in custody to be transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters. The officers executed the arrest warrant and began arrest processing.<br />After arrest processing was completed, the defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Cohen Pierson. Officers canvassed the area and were able to locate the vehicle. Officers on scene conducted a vehicle stop on Underhill Rd and the operator was identified as the defendant. Following a subsequent investigation, it is alleged that the defendant was unlawfully in possession of a quantity of five different controlled substances, was operating a vehicle with an alleged stolen license plate, and was operating a motor vehicle with a driver&rsquo;s license that was allegedly suspended. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.<br />&nbsp;<br />After processing was completed the defendant was issued an appearance ticket and released to The Westchester County Police Department for outstanding warrants with that agency. Upon arrival, a comprehensive investigation w [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="paragraph">&#8203;Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 48-year-old resident of Yorktown, NY who is charged with Rape 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony, and Endangering Welfare of an Incompetent Person 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.<br />&nbsp;<br />On February 21, 2026, at approximately 7:08 AM, the Yorktown Police Department responded to The Yorktown Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, located at 2300 Catherine St, Yorktown, NY for the report of an alleged sexual assault. Upon arrival, a comprehensive investigation was conducted. It was determined that the defendant, who was an employee at the facility, allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim, who is a resident of the facility. It was determined that the victim is incapacitated and lacks the ability to consent. The defendant surrendered himself at Yorktown Police headquarters and was placed under arrest.<br />&nbsp;<br />After arrest processing was completed, the defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Raniolo at the Yorktown Justice Court. A temporary order of protection was served on the defendant, protecting the victim, and bail was set at $100,000 cash. After failing to post bail, the defendant was remanded to the Westchester County Jail and turned over to the Westchester County Department of Corrections. A traffic stop was initiated on the Taconic State Parkway and the operator was identified as the defendant. An investigation was conducted and Police allege the defendant had two forged New York license plates on his vehicle as if they were legitimate. It is further alleged that the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured. The defendant was placed under arrest at the scene and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing.<br /><br />After arrest processing was completed the defendant was issued an Appearance Ticket and Uniform Traffic Tickets.
