44 year old Charged With Criminal Possession of Stolen Property

​Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 44-year-old Yorktown, NY resident, who has been charged with Five Counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, criminal possession of stolen property 5th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd Degree, an unclassified misdemeanor.
 
On February 19, 2026 at approximately 2:48 PM Yorktown Police were alerted to a vehicle which was allegedly being operated with stolen plates in the area of Quaker Church Rd. Officers canvassed the area and were able to locate the vehicle. Officers on scene conducted a vehicle stop on Underhill Rd and the operator was identified as the defendant. Following a subsequent investigation, it is alleged that the defendant was unlawfully in possession of a quantity of five different controlled substances, was operating a vehicle with an alleged stolen license plate, and was operating a motor vehicle with a driver’s license that was allegedly suspended. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.
 
After processing was completed the defendant was issued an appearance ticket and released to The Westchester County Police Department for outstanding warrants with that agency. The defendant is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on March 10, 2026 at 6:00 PM.
