Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 30 year old Cliffside Park, NJ, resident, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense, Operate a Motor Vehicle BAC .08 of 1% 1st Offense and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated Per Se with No Prior Convictions, which are all Unclassified Misdemeanors, as well as Failed to Use Designated Lane and Unlicensed Operator, both are Traffic Infractions.
On January 24, 2020, at approximately 3:14 AM P.O. Vuoso responded to a call of a vehicle rollover on Crompond Rd in the area of the Bill Volz lot. Upon arrival, he observed a male standing next to the rolled over vehicle that he identified as the operator. There were also 3 parked cars in the Bill Volz lot that had sustained damage due to the accident. After an investigation at the scene, it was determined that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated and without a driver license. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. Upon further investigation at Yorktown Police Headquarters, the defendant was charged with allegedly having a BAC over .18%. Following processing on the above charges, the defendant was issued uniform traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance. The defendant is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on February 6, 2020, at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 35 year old Bronx, NY residents as well as a 35 year-old, 25 year-old and 37 year-old residents from Yonkers, NY who are all charged with Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree, both Class "E" Felonies.
Police reports that on January 20, 2020 at about 2:35 PM Officers responded to a report of a past occurred larceny from Macy's located at 700 Lee Boulevard. Investigation by police revealed that the defendants while aiding abetting and acting in concert did allegedly steal assorted merchandise from Macy's depriving the store of a total of $1,772 and then left the area in a vehicle. The vehicle was located and it is further alleged that all of the defendants were in possession of the stolen property taken from Macy's. After the investigation was completed, the defendants were placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. All the defendants were released on their own recognizance and are scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on February 6, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 32 year-old Croton-on -Hudson resident who is charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor.
On January 21, 2020, PO Kaen responded to Yorktown Police Department Headquarters for a walk-in report of a domestic incident. After interviewing the victim, it is alleged that on January 20, 2020 at approximately 1:00 PM the defendant remained in the same place and within 500 feet as the victim, violating a valid Temporary Order of Protection. The defendant was located at 3333 Crompond Rd, placed under arrest and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing. Following the arrest processing on the above charge, the defendant was arraigned by the Horoable Judge Lagonia in the Yorktown Justice Court. The defendant was released on his own recognizance and is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on February 28, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 40 year old Garrison, NY resident who is charged with Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Police report that on 04/03/2019 at approximately 2:54 PM, PO Premuto was dispatched to investigate a report of a past larceny at Lowe's that occurred on 03/29/2019. An investigation was conducted and it is alleged that the defendant did enter Lowe's and steal property valued at $259.49. An arrest warrant was requested signed from the Yorktown Justice Court on 11/21/2019. On 01/17/2020 PO Hannigan responded to the Putnam County Jail and placed the defendant under arrest and transported him to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. After processing on the above charge the defendant was issued an appearance ticket and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on 02/06/2020 at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 50 year old Cortlandt Manor, NY resident who is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.
On 12/10/2019, Yorktown Police received a report from Lowe's alleging that an employee has been stealing property. P.O. Woodard was assigned to investigate. Following an investigation, the suspect was identified and it is alleged that from 10/03/2019 to 10/29/2019, the defendant did steal property with a total value of $4,146. On 01/16/2020 at 2:00 PM the defendant voluntarily appeared at Police Headquarters where he was placed under arrest at 2:53 PM and processed on the above charge. On 01/16/2020 at approximately 6:00 PM the defendant was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court, released on his own recognizance and is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on 02/04/2020 at 6:00 PM. |
