Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 28 year-old male from Peekskill, NY who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Suspended Registration, an Unclassified Misdemeanor and Speed in Zone, a Traffic Infraction.
On January 31, 2020, at about 5:48 AM, while on routine patrol, P.O. Chaparro conducted a traffic stop on Route 6 of a vehicle that was allegedly speeding. A routine driver’s license check of the operator revealed that he was allegedly operating a motor vehicle while his privilege to do so was suspended. A routine check of the vehicle registration revealed that the registration was allegedly suspended. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to Yorktown Police Department for processing. The defendant was processed and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on February 20, 2020, at 6:00PM to answer the charges. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 54 year-old Watertown, MA, resident who is charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, both are Class A Misdemeanors.
On February 5, 2020, at approximately 1:27 AM, P.O. Premuto was assigned to investigate a violation of a Temporary Order of Protection. The victim reported that on February 5, 2020, the defendant allegedly showed up at her residence violating a duly served Westchester County Family Court Temporary Order of Protection. When she went to call 911, the defendant allegedly took her cell phone from her, preventing her from calling for police assistance. The defendant was located at 2900 Gomer Street and placed under arrest for Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. He was transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and was arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo. He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on February 27, 2020, at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 38 year-old Peekskill, NY resident, who is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree, a Class D Felony.
On 12/10/2019, Yorktown Police received a report from Lowe’s alleging that an employee and a unknown individual has been stealing property. P.O. Woodard was assigned to investigate. Following an investigation, the suspect was identified and it is alleged that from 10/03/2019 to 10/29/2019, the defendant did steal property with a total value of $4,146.00. On 01/30/2020 at 4:00 PM the defendant voluntarily appeared at Police Headquarters where he was placed under arrest at 4:05 PM and processed on the above charge. On 01/30/2020 at approximately 5:15 PM the defendant was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court, released on his own recognizance and is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on 2/18/2020 at 06:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 25 year old Yorktown, NY resident, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC .18% or More, which are both Unclassified Misdemeanors.
According to Police, on January 28, 2020, at approximately 4:36 PM, PO Doherty, PO Campion and PO Rohr responded to a report of a person who was allegedly passed out while stopped at a red light. Upon arrival they observed the vehicle on Bound Brook Lane with the alleged driver sitting in the driver’s seat. After an investigation at the scene, it was determined that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. Upon the completion of processing the defendant was also charged with allegedly having a BAC greater than .18%. Following processing on the above charges, the defendant was issued uniform traffic tickets and released on her own recognizance to a responsible party. The defendant is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on February 11, 2020, at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 28 year-old Yorktown, NY resident who is charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, both Class “A” Misdemeanors.
Police report that on January 26, 2020, PO Caprio was dispatched to investigate a report of a past larceny at BJ’s that occurred on January 17, 2020. An investigation was conducted at the scene and it is alleged that the defendant did enter BJ’s and steal a Samsung Tablet valued at $469.99. The defendant was contacted and voluntarily appeared at Yorktown Police Headquarters where he was placed under arrest. While being placed under arrest it is alleged that the defendant possessed 2 mg Alprazolam pills, a controlled substance. The defendant was processed on the above charges and later released on his own recognizance. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on February 18, 2020 at 06:00 pm. |
