Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 24 year old male from Yorktown, NY, who is charged with Assault in the 3rd degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor and Criminal Mischief in the third Degree, a Class "E" Felony.
According to Police, a call was received on April 7, 2019, at 3:38 PM, reporting an active physical altercation at Seven Eleven, 1949 Commerce Street. Sgt. Dillon, Sgt. Kolkmann, Officer Beyrer, and Officer Woodard responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. It was determined that the defendant struck the victim with a closed fist causing pain, bruising and swelling. The male also threw the victims cell phone, which was valued at $1,000, to the ground, causing it to break. The male was located at about 4:11 pm by Sgt. Dillon and Sgt. Kolkmann while walking on Crompond Road. He was placed under arrest and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing. He was processed on the above charges and was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Gary Raniolo, where he set bail at $3,500 bond or $1,500 cash. A Temporary Order of Protection was issued on behalf of the victim. The male could not post bail and was remanded to Westchester County Department of Corrections. He is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on April 11, 2019, at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a thirty-six year old male from Croton-On-Hudson, New York, who is charged with Burglary 1st Degree, a Class “B” Felony, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, a Class “D” Felony, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor, Attempted Assault 3rd Degree, a Class “B” Misdemeanor and Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
On April 3, 2019, at about 8:43 pm, Yorktown Police responded to a 911 call from a Mohegan Lake residence reporting a domestic incident in progress. Upon arrival, the suspect had fled the scene. Officers met with the victim, who identified the suspect. Officers searched for the male but were unable to locate him. After interviewing the victim, it was determined that the male forced entry into the residence. The male caused damage to the residence as well as to a vehicle in the driveway. He also attempted to assault the victim with a barbell during the course of the burglary. Finally, his actions were in violation of a duly served Westchester County Family Court Order of Protection. On April 5, 2019, at about 1:52 pm, he voluntarily surrendered at Yorktown Police Headquarters, where he was arrested and processed on the above charges. He was arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo, who issued an order of protection in favor of the victim and set bail/bond at $10,000. He posted bond and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on April 11, 2019, at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 56 year old Flushing, NY resident who is charged with Prostitution, a Class “B” Misdemeanor and Unauthorized Practice of a Profession a Class “E” Felony of the Education Law.
The Yorktown Police Department reports an arrest following an ongoing investigation conducted by the Yorktown Police Department with the assistance of the Westchester County Police Department at the Jefferson Valley Spa located at 3505 Hill Blvd. Detectives and officers from both departments conducted a joint investigation and it is alleged that on 03/31/2019 the defendant was unauthorized to practice the profession listed under the business license. It is further alleged that the defendant did agree to engage in sexual conduct with another person for a fee. The defendant was arrested at the scene and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. The defendant was processed, charged with the above charges and arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Lagonia. The defendant was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on 04/09/2019 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a thirty year old Yorktown Heights, NY resident who is charged with two counts of Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
On March 30, 2019 at about 1:10 pm, Officer Tillistrand responded to a Mohegan Lake residence to investigate a domestic incident complaint. Subsequent to the officer’s investigation, it is alleged that the defendant threatened to kill the female victim in both a text message and during a phone call to the victim. The defendant was contacted by Yorktown Police and voluntarily surrendered himself at Yorktown Police Headquarters. The defendant was processed on two counts of Aggravated Harassment. He was later arraigned in Cortlandt Justice Court by the Hon. Daniel McCarthy, who issued a temporary order of protection in favor of the female victim and the defendant was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on April 4th, 2019 at 6:00 pm. |
