Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 47 year old New Fairfield man, who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a class A Misdemeanor.
On May 23, 2018 at approximately 07:31 PM Officers were dispatched to investigate two parties allegedly arguing in a vehicle. Upon arrival the vehicle was located and an investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly in possession of a quantity of Suboxone. The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. At Headquarters the defendant was processed on the above charge and released on $300.00 cash bail. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on June 26, 2018 at 6:00 PM for arraignment. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 33 year old Fishkill woman, who is charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
On May 23, 2018 at approximately 07:31 PM, Yorktown Police responded to a call of two people arguing in a vehicle. Upon arrival the vehicle was located and an investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly violated a Town of Southeast Court Temporary Order of Protection by being in the presence of the protected party. The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. The defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Lagonia and bail was set at $1,000.00 cash or bond which she could not post. The defendant was remanded to the custody of the Westchester County Department of Corrections and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on June 12, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 27 year old Bethel, CT man, who is charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, an Unclassified Misdemeanor and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor.
On May 21, 2018 at approximately 08:00 PM, Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries and a vehicle on its side. Upon arrival an investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly operating a motor vehicle while impaired on drugs. Further investigation revealed that the defendant was allegedly in possession of a quantity of crack/cocaine. The defendant was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on $250.00 bail to a responsible party. The defendant is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on May 29, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a thirty-three year old Yonkers woman, who is charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor, and Fail to Obey a Traffic Control Device, a Traffic Infraction.
On May 21, 2018 at about 11:58 am, Lieutenant Graham was on routine patrol on Crompond Rd. near the entrance to Yorktown High School when he observed a vehicle being operated erratically. The driver of the vehicle allegedly failed to obey a traffic control device and nearly caused a traffic accident. Lieutenant Graham conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as the defendant. Investigation at the scene by Lt. Graham, Sgt. Scatola, PO Peters and PO Campion led to the defendant being arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. She was transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters and searched by a female matron, who found a small quantity of Phencyclidine ("PCP") in the defendant’s pocket. The defendant was arrested at the scene and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters. She was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert and subsequently charged with the above charges. She was later released to a responsible party on $250 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on May 29, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a twenty-eight year old Peekskill man, who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor and Unlicensed Driver, a Traffic Infraction.
On May 21, 2018 at about 9:17 am, Officer Curtin responded to a personal injury auto accident on Crompond Rd. near Garden Lane. While conducting an accident investigation at the scene, a routine driver’s license inquiry was performed and it is alleged that one of the drivers' licenses was revoked for leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. It is also alleged that the defendant's driver’s license was expired at the time of the accident. The defendant was arrested at the scene and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing. He was released on $250 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on June 26, 2017 at 6:00 pm. |
