Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 32 year old Croton-On-Hudson man, on a bench warrant issued by the Yorktown Justice Court for Failure to Appear in connection with the charge of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
On May 31, 2018 at 6:00 pm, it is alleged that the defendant missed a scheduled court appearance in Yorktown Justice Court and a bench warrant was issued. On June 7, 2018 at approximately 6:25 pm, the defendant responded to Police Headquarters and was arrested on the warrant. The defendant was processed and arraigned by the Honorable Judge Raniolo, and released after posting $140.00 bail in court. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on June 21, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a a 73 year old Yorktown man, who is charged with Attempted Assault in the 3rd degree, a Class "B" Misdemeanor.
According to Police, on June 4, 2018 at approximately 8:25 pm, Officer Fortunato was assigned to investigate a report of a physical domestic incident that occurred at a residence in Yorktown. After conducting an investigation, it is alleged that the defendant did strike the victim in the face causing the victim pain. The defendant was placed under arrest at the scene and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. The defendant was processed on the above charge and was arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo. He was ROR'd and a Temporary Order of Protection issued on behalf of the victim. The defendant is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on July 5, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a a 59 year old Ardsley man, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .18 or greater, both Unclassified Misdemeanors. The defendant is also charged with Failing to Keep Right, a Traffic Infraction.
On June 3, 2018 at about 12:25 AM while on patrol, P.O. Doherty conducted a traffic stop on Route 202 at Springhurst Street. The operator of the vehicle was identified via his New York State drivers license. It is alleged that defendant failed to keep right while driving on Route 202. It is also alleged that the defendant was Driving While Intoxicated. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to Yorktown Police Department for processing. Once at Yorktown Police Department the defendant was also charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated for allegedly operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .18 or greater. The defendant was processed and released on his own recognizance to a responsible party. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on July 5, 2018 at 6:00PM to answer the charges. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 57 year old Mohegan Lake man, who is charged with Assault in the 3RD Degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor.
On June 2, 2018 at approximately 5:55 PM, Yorktown Police responded to the Shell Gas Station located at 930 East Main Street for a call of an altercation in progress. Upon arrival, an investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly struck the victim in his mouth causing injuries and extreme pain to the victim. The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. The defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Raniolo who issued a temporary order of protection protecting the victim. The defendant was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on June 21, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 35 year old Yorktown man, who was arrested and held on a Warrant of Arrest issued by Westchester County Family Court Judge Hal Greenwald ordering the defendant to appear at White Plains Family Court.
According to police, the defendant turned himself into Yorktown Police Department on June 2, 2018 for the open warrant issued by Judge Hal Greenwald of the White Plains Family Court. P.O. Ellsworth and Det. Tausz took the defendant into custody on the warrant. The defendant was processed and arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo who remanded the defendant to Westchester County Department of Corrections in lieu of bail. He is due back in White Plains Family Court on June 4, 2018 at 9:30 AM. |
