Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 40 year old Mission Viejo, CA resident, who is charged with Criminal Trespass 3rd degree, a Class B Misdemeanor.
According to Police, on August 15, 2019 at 11:57 AM, a report was received that a male was on the property of Yorktown High School refusing to leave. Sgt. Dillon, P.O. Curtin, P.O. Rana and P.O. Mundy responded and conducted an investigation. It is alleged that the defendant did remain on the Yorktown High School Property located at 2727 Crompond Road after being asked to leave numerous times by school officials. The defendant was arrested and brought to Yorktown Police Department for processing. He was processed and arraigned in Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Raniolo. Judge Raniolo issued a stay away order of protection, forbidding the defendant from being on any Yorktown School District properties. The defendant was released on his own recognizance and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on September 17, 2019 at 6 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 23 year old Danbury, CT resident who is charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or more, both unclassified misdemeanors. She is additionally charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, a class B misdemeanor and failure to keep right, a traffic infraction.
Police report that on August 11, 2019 at approximately 12:28 AM officers responded to a report of an erratic driver on Crompond Rd. The vehicle happened to pull into in the Yorktown PD parking lot where the vehicle had stopped. An investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant allegedly was driving while intoxicated, failed to keep right and left the scene of a personal injury accident on Crompond Rd. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. Upon arrival at headquarters, a further investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly operated her vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on her own recognizance to a responsible third party. She is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on August 22, 2019 at 6:00pm Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 30 year old Yonkers, NY resident on the following charges; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a misdemeanor and Fail to Keep Right, a violation.
On August 10, 2019 at approximately 7:50 pm, P.O. Hannigan conducted a traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway south bound on ramp from Route 202 for a vehicle that allegedly Failed to Keep Right. The operator of the vehicle was identified by his New York State Drivers License. Following an investigation, it’s alleged that the defendant was in criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree. The defendant was arrested on the above charge, transported to Yorktown Police Department for processing. Following processing on the charges, the defendant was issued an appearance ticket, 1 traffic summons and released on his own recognizance. The defendant is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on September 19, 2019 at 6:00 pm to answer the charges. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 58 year old Bronx, NY, resident who is charged with Assault 3rd degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
According to Police, on June 13th, 2019, at approximately 10:34 PM, P.O. Doherty responded to a report of a domestic dispute. An investigation was conducted at the scene by P.O. Doherty which revealed that the defendant, who was not on scene, allegedly struck the victim above her left eye with his fist causing bruising and swelling. A warrant was applied for and issued by the Yorktown Justice Court on July 25, 2019. On August 8, 2019, the defendant voluntarily surrendered himself at Yorktown Police Headquarters. He was placed arrest and processed on the above charge. He was arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo and released on his own recognizance. The defendant is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on September 19, 2019, at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 19 year old Yorktown, NY resident who is charged with burglary in the 2nd degree, a class C felony and criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, a class E felony.
According to Police, on August 3, 2019 at about 6:02 AM, Officer David and Officer Vuoso responded for a report of a possible altercation in the area of 257 Fox Croft Lane. An investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant allegedly entered a dwelling without permission and intentionally damaged a glass door valued at $500.00. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and arraigned by Judge Raniolo, who issued an order of protection on behalf of the victims and set bail at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. The defendant was unable to post bail and was turned over to the Westchester County Department of Corrections. The defendant is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on August 8, 2019 at 6:00 PM. |
