Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 14-year-old, White Plains, NY resident who is charged with Juvenile Delinquency, the underlying charge being Attempted Grand Larceny 4th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
According to Police, on October 17, 2024 at approximately 11:08 PM, Yorktown Police took a report of a youth being extorted for money over the internet by an unknown suspect. An investigation was conducted and Detective Sage identified the juvenile defendant as the male who allegedly attempted to extort the youth. On May 6, 2025, the defendant's adult guardian was contacted and later appeared at Yorktown Police Headquarters, and was issued a Juvenile Appearance Ticket. The juvenile defendant and his adult guardian are scheduled to appear at the Westchester County Courthouse; Department of Probation on May 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Comments are closed.
