Staff Services Division
The Staff Services Division provides essential support functions to both the Patrol Division and Detective Division. The Staff Services Division is comprised of both sworn officers and civilian members of the department and is responsible for Communications, Records Management, Public Information, Information Technology (IT), Animal Control, Facility Maintenance, and Finance/Budgeting.

​ Anthony DiPietrantonio,
​Staff Division Commander
Lt. DiPietrantonio grew up in Yorktown and graduated from Yorktown High School in 2004. After High School, he attended Castleton University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration. Lt. DiPietrantonio was subsequently hired by the Yorktown Police Department, where he attended and graduated from the Westchester County Police Academy in 2008. During his time in the Patrol Division, Lt. DiPietrantonio was trained as a patrol officer, desk officer, and D.A.R.E instructor. In 2019, he was reassigned as the School Resource Officer for George Washington Elementary School until 2022. At that time, he was promoted to Sergeant and assigned to oversee a patrol squad. 
In July of 2025, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and assigned as the Staff Division Commander. As Staff Division Commander, he is tasked with overseeing Records Management, Animal Control, Communications, Payroll, Finance/Budgeting, Headquarters Maintenance, Equipment and Supplies, Public Information, Information Technology (IT), and is a system administrator for all technology utilized by the Yorktown Police Department.
