Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 44-year-old Yorktown, NY, resident, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Operate a Motor Vehicle BAC .08 of 1% 1st Offense, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, as well as Failed to Use Designated Lane, Refuse to Submit to a Chemical Test and Speed Unreasonable and Prudent, all are Traffic Infractions.
On October 11, 2020, at approximately 3:44 AM P.O. Chaparro responded to a call of a vehicle that had rolled over. Upon arrival, he observed 4 males standing near a vehicle which had rolled over and came to rest off the roadway on a fence. After an investigation, he was able to identify the operator as the defendant. EMS personnel were called to the scene as a precaution. After being evaluated by EMS and after an investigation at the scene, it was determined that the defendant allegedly refused to submit to a breath test and was allegedly driving while intoxicated. The investigation also determined that he was allegedly driving at a speed which was unreasonable and prudent and failed to use his designated lane. He was placed under arrest and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing. A further investigation at Police Headquarters revealed that the defendant had allegedly operated a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 of 1% or higher. The defendant was issued uniform traffic tickets for the above listed charges and was released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on October 22, 2020, at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of 45-year-old Ossining, NY, resident who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or more having two convictions in the preceding 10 years, both D Felonies, Operating a Motor vehicle with a suspended license, a Class E Felony, Operating a Motor vehicle without an interlock device, an unclassified Misdemeanor and Following too Closely, a Traffic Infraction. On October 11, 2020, at approximately 3:35 PM, PO Ellsworth was dispatched to Crompond Road to investigate a property damage motor vehicle accident. The defendant was identified as one of the operators involved in the motor vehicle accident and an investigation on scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated. It’s further alleged that the defendant was driving with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device and following too closely. The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters. Further investigation at Headquarters revealed that the defendant was allegedly operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more and had two previous convictions in the preceding 10 years. Following processing on the charges, the defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo and later released on his own recognizance to a responsible party. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on October 22, 2020, at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 28-year-old female from Yorktown, NY, who is charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .18% or more, both Unclassified Misdemeanors. She is additionally charged with moving from lane unsafely, a Traffic Infraction. Police report that on October 11, 2020, at approximately 10:01 PM, P.O. Doherty observed a vehicle that allegedly moved from the designated lane of travel unsafely. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. Upon arrival at Headquarters, further investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly operated her vehicle with a BAC of .18% or more. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on her own recognizance to a responsible third party. She is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on October 22, 2020 at 6:00pm Comments are closed.
