Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 17 year old female from Yorktown, NY who is charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended/Revoked, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance in Effect which are all Traffic Infractions.
On January 25, 2020 at about 12:00 PM P.O. Curtin responded to a reported leaving the scene property damage accident at 201 Veterans Road. The defendant was identified as one of the operators allegedly involved. A routine driver's license check of the defendant revealed that she was allegedly operating a motor vehicle while the registration was suspended. Further investigation also alleges that the defendant operated a motor vehicle without insurance, and also allegedly left the scene of a property damage accident. The defendant was placed under arrest. The defendant was processed and released on her own recognizance. She is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on February 13, 2020 at 6:00 PM to answer the charges. Yorktown Police report the arrest of 65 year old Yorktown, NY resident who is charged with menacing in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
According to police, on January 27, 2020 Officer Ellsworth took a report of a past occurred domestic incident that took place at a Yorktown residence. An investigation revealed that on 01/25/2020 at approximately 2:00 AM, the defendant allegedly pointed a rifle at the head of the victim and threatened to shoot the victim. The defendant was placed under arrest outside of his residence and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. The defendant was processed on the above charge and arraigned by Judge Lagonia. A temporary order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim and the defendant was then released on his own recognizance. The defendant is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on February 11, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 63 year old Cortlandt Manor, NY, resident, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, as well as Failed to Use Designated Lane and No Seat Belt, both are Traffic Infractions.
On January 25, 2020, at approximately 2:58 AM P.O. Vuoso responded to a call of a vehicle that had struck a tree. Upon arrival, he observed a male, that he later identified as the operator, attempting to exit the driver side door of the vehicle which had crossed over the North bound lane of Hunterbrook Road and struck a tree. The male had obvious injuries to his face, so EMS personnel were called to the scene. After being evaluated by EMS and after an investigation at the scene, it was determined that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated. He was placed under arrest and transported by ambulance to the Westchester Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. The defendant was issued uniform traffic tickets at the hospital for the above listed charges and was released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on February 6, 2020, at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 19 year old Yonkers, NY resident and a 26 year old, Yorktown, NY resident who are both charged with Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Police report that on 01/24/2020 at approximately 2:57 PM, PO Battista was dispatched to investigate a report of two shoplifters in custody at Macy’s. An investigation was conducted and it is alleged that the defendants did enter Macy’s and steal property valued at $702.49. The defendants were arrested at the scene for Petit Larceny and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. After processing on the above charge the defendants were issued appearance tickets and released on their own recognizance. The defendants are scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on 02/13/2020 at 06:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 38 year-old West Haverstraw, NY resident who is charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor.
On January 21, 2020, PO Lizarzaburu responded to Yorktown Police Department Headquarters for a walk-in report of a domestic incident. After interviewing the victim, it is alleged that on January 11, 2020 at approximately 6:16 AM, the defendant remained in the home of the victim after visitation hours, violating a valid Temporary Order of Protection. On January 22, 2020 at approximately 4:00 PM the defendant voluntarily appeared at Yorktown Police Headquarters and was placed under arrest on the above charge. Following arrest processing, the defendant was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on February 11, 2020 at 6:00 PM. |
