Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 17 year old female from Yorktown, NY who is charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended/Revoked, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance in Effect which are all Traffic Infractions.
On January 25, 2020 at about 12:00 PM P.O. Curtin responded to a reported leaving the scene property damage accident at 201 Veterans Road. The defendant was identified as one of the operators allegedly involved. A routine driver's license check of the defendant revealed that she was allegedly operating a motor vehicle while the registration was suspended. Further investigation also alleges that the defendant operated a motor vehicle without insurance, and also allegedly left the scene of a property damage accident. The defendant was placed under arrest. The defendant was processed and released on her own recognizance. She is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on February 13, 2020 at 6:00 PM to answer the charges. Comments are closed.
