Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 30 year old female of Carmel, NY on an Arrest Warrant issued for Identity Theft in the 1st Degree and Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, Both Class D Felonies.
According to Police, on August 25, 2018 at approximately 11:16 AM, PO Woodard responded to Yorktown Police Headquarters for a larceny complaint. An investigation revealed that the Defendant allegedly assumed the identity of the victim by obtaining his personal information and allegedly made unauthorized purchases for cellular phone bills totaling $3,317.49. Det. Shanahan was assigned to the case. PO Woodard and Det. Shanahan made several attempts to contact the Defendant in regards to the incident but she was uncooperative. A warrant was applied for and issued by Yorktown Court on January 15, 2019 for her arrest. On February 25, 2019 Det. Shanahan and PO Doherty responded to the Carmel Police Department where the defendant was being held. She was placed under arrest and transported back to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and arraigned by the Honorable Judge Raniolo who set $10,000 bond or $10,000 cash. The defendant could not make bail and was remanded to Westchester County Jail. She is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on February 28, 2019 at 06:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 23 year old Mt Kisco woman who is charged with Fail To Keep Right, a Traffic Violation, and Driving While Intoxicated, an Unclassified Misdemeanor.
According to police on February 20, 2019, at 10:19 pm a call was received from a resident reporting a motor vehicle accident on Hanover Street near the intersection with Montross Rd. Officers Ellsworth and Doherty responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. The officers investigation revealed that the driver involved in the accident traveled off the roadway and struck a tree. Further investigation revealed that the driver was driving while intoxicated. The driver was arrested at the scene by P.O. Ellsworth and transported by Yorktown Ambulance to Hudson Valley Hospital Center for treatment of leg and head injuries. Following processing at HVHC by P.O. Ellsworth, the defendant was issued an appearance ticket in reference to the charges and then released on her own recognizance to hospital staff. The driver is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on March 21, 2019, at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 29 year old Cortlandt Manor man, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or more, both unclassified misdemeanors. He is additionally charged with Failure to Maintain Lane, a traffic infraction.
Police report that on February 17, 2019, at approximately 2:50 AM, P.O. Vuoso observed a vehicle that failed to maintain the designated lane of travel. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation at the scene revealed that the driver was driving while intoxicated. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. Upon arrival at headquarters, a further investigation revealed that the driver operated his vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more. The driver was processed on the above charges and released to a responsible third party after posting $100.00 cash bail. He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on March 5, 2019, at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 41 year old Crompond, NY resident who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or more, both Unclassified Misdemeanors, Passing a Steady Red Light and No Headlights, both Traffic Infractions.
On February 15, 2019 at approximately 10:59 PM, P.O. Campion while on routine patrol on Route 6 observed a vehicle which had no headlights on and passed a steady red light. PO Campion then initiated a traffic stop. The defendant was identified as a 41 year old Crompond, NY man. Further investigation revealed that the driver driving while intoxicated and was operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more. The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters. Upon arrival at Headquarters the defendant was processed on the above charges and later released on $100.00 cash bail to a responsible party. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on February 28, 2019 at 06:00 PM. Bronx Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges After Officer Spots Him Using Cocaine in Parking Lot2/21/2019
Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 26 year old Bronx man, who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree, a Class C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree, a Class D Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a Violation.
According to Police, on February 18, 2019 at approximately 11:40 AM, P.O. Hannigan was on a routine patrol when he saw suspicious activity by the defendant who was sitting inside of a parked vehicle. P.O. Hannigan approached the vehicle and observed the defendant using Cocaine. Further investigation revealed the defendant was in possession of a quantity of Alprazolam pills, Endocet pills, MDMA pills, tabs of LSD and approximately 21.5 grams of marijuana. The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. At Headquarters, the defendant was processed on the above charges and arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo who set bail at $5000.00 cash or bond which the defendant was unable to post. The defendant was remanded to the custody of the Westchester County Department of Corrections and due is back in Yorktown Justice on February 21, 2019 at 06:00 PM. |
