Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 23 year old Mt Kisco woman who is charged with Fail To Keep Right, a Traffic Violation, and Driving While Intoxicated, an Unclassified Misdemeanor.
According to police on February 20, 2019, at 10:19 pm a call was received from a resident reporting a motor vehicle accident on Hanover Street near the intersection with Montross Rd. Officers Ellsworth and Doherty responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. The officers investigation revealed that the driver involved in the accident traveled off the roadway and struck a tree. Further investigation revealed that the driver was driving while intoxicated. The driver was arrested at the scene by P.O. Ellsworth and transported by Yorktown Ambulance to Hudson Valley Hospital Center for treatment of leg and head injuries. Following processing at HVHC by P.O. Ellsworth, the defendant was issued an appearance ticket in reference to the charges and then released on her own recognizance to hospital staff. The driver is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on March 21, 2019, at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
