Ossining Man Arrested in Yonkers for Physically Injuring Victim During Burglary

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 34-year-old Ossining, NY resident who is charged with Burglary in the First Degree, a Class “B” Felony.
 
On May 29, 2022 at 4:22 PM, Yorktown Police responded to a Yorktown Residence for a domestic incident which occurred in the past.  Upon arrival PO Curtis was assigned to investigate the incident, which allegedly occurred on May 27, 2022.  Through further investigation it is alleged that the defendant entered the victim’s dwelling unlawfully.  While inside the dwelling the defendant allegedly caused physical injury to the victim and damaged property.        
 
The defendant was arrested on unrelated charges in the City of Yonkers, who advised Yorktown Police that the defendant was in their custody.  Yorktown Police then responded to the City of Yonkers Police Department and took custody of the defendant. The defendant was then placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing.

After processing, the defendant was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court on the above charge and was remanded without bail to the Westchester County Jail.  The defendant was then turned over to Westchester County Corrections and is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on June 2, 2022 at 6:00 PM.  

Yorktown Man Arrested for Aggravated Harassment

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 50 year old Yorktown man, who is charged with one count of Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
 
On April 29, 2022 at about 1:30 pm, Yorktown Police responded to 345 Kear Street for a report of an aggravated harassment complaint.  Following an investigation at the scene, it is alleged that the defendant placed the victim in fear by threatening to kill the victim. Officers on patrol located the defendant at the DeVito Memorial Park, where the victim identified the defendant, and the defendant was then placed under arrest. 
 
The defendant was charged with one count of Aggravated Harassment 2nd Degree and released on his own recognizance.  The defendant is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on May 17, 2022 at 6:00 pm.

17 Year Old Charged with Stealing Cell Phone from Parked Car at Turkey Mountain

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 17-year-old Yorktown man, who is charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree, a Class "E" Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor, as well Unsafe Lane Change, a Traffic Infraction.
 
On April 11, 2022 at approximately 5:56 pm, Yorktown Police received a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle which was parked at
Turkey Mountain Park on Saw Mill River Road.  It was alleged that several items, including a cell phone, were taken from the vehicle.
 
On April 27, 2022, the victim contacted Yorktown Police and advised officers that the cell phone had been turned on and was able to determine its location.  Following an investigation, the defendant was identified and it is alleged that the defendant was unlawfully in possession of a stolen cell phone, as well as 22 Vyvanse pills, a controlled substance.  The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for arrest processing.
 
The defendant was processed, issued a juvenile appearance ticket and released to a parent.  The defendant is due to appear in the Felony Youth Part of the Westchester County Superior Court on May 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm.

Yonkers Man Arrested for Stealing Used Cooking Oil

Yorktown Police report the arrest of an 18-year-old, Yonkers man, who is charged with Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, a Class "E" Felony, Possession of Burglar Tools, a Class "A" Misdemeanor, and No Front License Plate, a Traffic Infraction.
 
On April 27, 2022 at about 3:45 pm, Yorktown Police responded to 1859 East Main Street for a report of a larceny in progress of used cooking oil.  It was reported that a male had taken the used cooking oil and left the location in a white colored van.  While responding, Officer David located a vehicle matching the description parked in the gas station located at 1770 East Main Street.  PO David initiated an investigation and the defendant was identified.  After investigation it is alleged that the defendant had stolen a quantity of used cooking oil, was in possession of a pump and two large containers containing used cooking oil, and had no front plate affixed to his vehicle.  The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for arrest processing.
 
The defendant was processed on the above charges and issued an appearance ticket, as well as a traffic ticket.  The defendant was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on May 12, 2022 at 6:00 pm.
