Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 33 year old Ossining man, who is charged with Attempted Petit Larceny, a Class “B” Misdemeanor.
According to police, on January 24, 2021 at approximately 11:45 pm, Yorktown Police received a report that a homeowner observed someone entering and going through his unlocked vehicle in his driveway. Officer Palladino and several other officers responded to the scene and found the victim was holding the defendant down, awaiting the arrival of police. Officer Palladino took custody of the defendant and initiated an investigation. At the completion of the investigation, it is alleged that the defendant unlawfully entered the victim’s vehicle and was attempting to steal items from inside. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. After arrest processing was completed, the defendant was issued an appearance ticket and released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear before the Yorktown Justice Court on February 11, 2021 at 6:00 pm. Yonkers Woman Arrested on Warrant After Allegedly Stealing Over $5,000 in Merchandise from Macy's1/19/2021
Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 60 year old Yonkers woman on a charge of Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, a Class “D” Felony.
According to police, on October 10, 2020 at approximately 4:09 pm, Officer Campion was dispatched to Macy’s on Lee Blvd. to investigate a larceny complaint. Following Officer Campion's investigation, it is alleged that an unknown female stole over $5,000.00 worth of merchandise from Macy’s. Further investigation was conducted, and the suspect in the larceny was identified as the defendant. An Arrest Warrant was for Grand Larceny 3rd Degree was subsequently issued by the Yorktown Justice Court. On January 18, 2021 at approximately 3:35 pm, Yorktown Police were notified by Westchester County Police that they had the defendant in custody while investigating an unrelated incident. Westchester County Police transported the defendant to the Yorktown Police Headquarters, where she was placed under arrest. After arrest processing was completed, the defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Salvatore Lagonia, who remanded the defendant to the Westchester County Jail without bail. The defendant is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on February 2, 2021 at 3:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 35 year old Mahopac man, who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor.
According to Police, on January 9, 2021 at approximately 9:40 pm, Yorktown Police received a call for someone acting erratically in the parking lot of 1949 Commerce Street. Officer Doherty was dispatched and assigned to investigate. After an investigation on scene was completed, it is alleged that the defendant was in possession of 13 glassine envelopes containing heroin. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. Following processing the defendant was issued an appearance ticket for the above charge and released on his own recognizance. The defendant is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on January 26, 2021 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 66 year old Yorktown Heights man, who is charged with Disorderly Conduct, a Violation.
On January 4, 2021 at approximately 1:09 PM Yorktown Police received a report of a disorderly subject at the T-Mobile store located at 650 Lee Blvd. P.O. Garcia was assigned to investigate and responded. Following an investigation at the scene, it is alleged that the defendant did cause public annoyance and alarm by repeatedly yelling obscene and threatening language in a public place. The defendant was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and processed on scene. The defendant was issued an appearance ticket, released on his own recognizance and released to a responsible party. The defendant is due to appear in the Town of Yorktown Justice Court on 1/21/2021 at 6:00 PM. |
