Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 37 year old male from Ossining, NY who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Intoxicated with a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of .18 or More, both Unclassified Misdemeanors, Unsafe Lane Change and Unlicensed Driver, both Traffic Infractions.
On November 24, 2017 at about 4:30 pm Sgt. Dillon and P.O. Palladino responded to a motor vehicle crash on Pines Bridge Road at the intersection of Chadeayne Road. Upon arrival, the officers identified the defendant as the operator of the vehicle and further investigation revealed the defendant was Driving While Intoxicated. The driver was arrested at the scene and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters. He was additionally charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .18 or More after taking a breath test, Unsafe Lane Change and Unlicensed Driver. The defendant was released on $200.00 cash bail to a family member. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on December 7, 2017 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police Department Chief of Police Robert Noble advises motorists that on Saturday December 2, 2017 at 6:30 pm the Yorktown Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the annual Holiday Light Parade. The parade will begin on Front Street, near the Yorktown Highway Department, and will travel west on Underhill Avenue to the intersection with Commerce Street. The parade will continue on Commerce Street to Veterans Road, concluding with ceremonies at the Yorktown Community Cultural Center. To provide for the safety of parade participants and spectators, the following roadways will be closed from approximately 6:15 pm until the conclusion of the parade, estimated to be approximately one hour.

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a twenty-three year old Mahopac resident who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd Degree an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Speed In Zone and Uninspected Motor Vehicle, both Traffic Infractions.
On November 22, 2017 at about 2:20 pm, Officer Palladino was on routine patrol on Route 6 in the area of Mountain Brook Dr. Officer Palladino conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and a routine driver’s license inquiry was performed. That inquiry showed that the defendant's driver's license was revoked for failing to answer seven (7) different summonses in Queens, Mount Pleasant, Cortlandt and Yonkers, and for receiving three speeding summonses within 18 months. The reason for the traffic stop in the first place? Speeding, 65 mph in the posted 45 mph zone. The defendant was arrested at the scene, his car was towed and he was transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters. The defendant was released on $100 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on January 2, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 31 year old Yonkers man who was arrested on an Arrest Warrant for Failure to Appear in connection with a charge of Peddling Without a Permit, a Town Code violation.
According to Yorktown Police, on September 12, 2017 at 6:00 pm, the defendant allegedly missed a scheduled court appearance in Yorktown Justice Court and an Arrest Warrant was issued. On November 21, 2017, at approximately 3:55 pm, officers from the City of Peekskill Police Department called and stated that they had the defendant stopped in regards to an unrelated case and detained him on the arrest warrant. P.O. Campion and Det. Shanahan responded to Peekskill Police Headquarters and took the defendant into custody. He was transported back to Yorktown Police Department for processing. After processing the defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Salvatore Lagonia who set bail at $100.00 cash or $ 200.00 bond which the defendant could not post. The defendant was later turned over to the custody of the Westchester County Department of Corrections and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on November 28, 2017 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 42 year old Yorktown resident who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .18% or More, both Unclassified Misdemeanors, and Refusing to Take a Breath Test, a Traffic Infraction.
On November 21, 2017 at about 5:34 pm, Yorktown Police received a call for a property damage motor vehicle accident on Route 6 and P.O. Gregorio was dispatched to investigate. Upon arrival the defendant was identified as the operator of the vehicle and further investigation revealed that the defendant was driving while intoxicated. It is further alleged that she was operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .18% or more and refused to take a breath test. The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters. Upon arrival at Headquarters the defendant was processed on the above charges and later released on her own recognizance to a responsible party. She is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on December 05, 2017 at 06:00 pm. |
