Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 31 year old Yonkers man who was arrested on an Arrest Warrant for Failure to Appear in connection with a charge of Peddling Without a Permit, a Town Code violation.
According to Yorktown Police, on September 12, 2017 at 6:00 pm, the defendant allegedly missed a scheduled court appearance in Yorktown Justice Court and an Arrest Warrant was issued. On November 21, 2017, at approximately 3:55 pm, officers from the City of Peekskill Police Department called and stated that they had the defendant stopped in regards to an unrelated case and detained him on the arrest warrant. P.O. Campion and Det. Shanahan responded to Peekskill Police Headquarters and took the defendant into custody. He was transported back to Yorktown Police Department for processing. After processing the defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Salvatore Lagonia who set bail at $100.00 cash or $ 200.00 bond which the defendant could not post. The defendant was later turned over to the custody of the Westchester County Department of Corrections and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on November 28, 2017 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
