Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 29 year old Cortlandt Manor man, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or more, both unclassified misdemeanors. He is additionally charged with Failure to Maintain Lane, a traffic infraction.
Police report that on February 17, 2019, at approximately 2:50 AM, P.O. Vuoso observed a vehicle that failed to maintain the designated lane of travel. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation at the scene revealed that the driver was driving while intoxicated. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. Upon arrival at headquarters, a further investigation revealed that the driver operated his vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more. The driver was processed on the above charges and released to a responsible third party after posting $100.00 cash bail. He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on March 5, 2019, at 6:00 pm.
