Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 63 year old Cortlandt Manor, NY, resident, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, as well as Failed to Use Designated Lane and No Seat Belt, both are Traffic Infractions.
On January 25, 2020, at approximately 2:58 AM P.O. Vuoso responded to a call of a vehicle that had struck a tree. Upon arrival, he observed a male, that he later identified as the operator, attempting to exit the driver side door of the vehicle which had crossed over the North bound lane of Hunterbrook Road and struck a tree. The male had obvious injuries to his face, so EMS personnel were called to the scene. After being evaluated by EMS and after an investigation at the scene, it was determined that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated. He was placed under arrest and transported by ambulance to the Westchester Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. The defendant was issued uniform traffic tickets at the hospital for the above listed charges and was released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on February 6, 2020, at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
