81 Year Old Man Charged with DWI

Yorktown Police report the arrest of an 81 year old Yorktown resident, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, and Driving While Intoxicated, BAC .08% or more, both Unclassified Misdemeanors.
 
On 04/28/2018 at approximately 7:34 PM, the Yorktown Police Department received a call of a possible motor vehicle accident on Route 118.  PO Curtis responded, located the motor vehicle and the defendant.  An investigation was conducted at the scene and it is alleged that the defendant was driving while intoxicated when he drove his motor vehicle.  The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing.
 
Upon arrival at Headquarters, a further investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly operated his vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on his own recognizance to a responsible person. He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on May 10th, 2018 at 6:00 PM.
