Beacon Woman Arrested at Macy's, Charged with Petit Larceny

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 30 year old Beacon, NY resident who is charged with Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.
 
Police report that, on May 31, 2019 at approximately 9:08 PM they received a report of a shoplifter in custody at Macy’s.  PO Campion responded and conducted an investigation.   It is alleged the defendant did leave Macy’s with without paying for merchandise valued at $272.30.  The defendant was arrested at the scene for Petit Larceny and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing.
 
The defendant was processed on the above charge, issued an appearance ticket and later released on $100.00 cash bail.  She is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on July 2, 2019 at 06:00 pm.
