Bench Warrant Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of 37 year-old Peekskill, NY resident on a bench warrant issued by the Yorktown Justice Court for Failure to Appear in connection with the charge of Menacing in the 2nd Degree.
 
On February 11, 2020 at 6:00 PM, it is alleged that the defendant missed a scheduled court appearance at the Yorktown Justice Court and a bench warrant was issued.  On February 13, 2020 at approximately 5:38 PM, the defendant responded to Yorktown Police Headquarters and was arrested on the warrant by Officer Doherty.
 
The defendant was processed and then brought before the Honorable Gary Raniolo for arraignment.  He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on February 18, 2020 at 6:00 pm.
