Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 71 year old Mohegan Lake man, who is charged with Gaming Fraud in the First Degree, a Class "E" Felony.
The Yorktown Police Department and New York State Gaming Commission investigators conducted an investigation into possible gaming fraud that was occurring at weekly BINGO Games at the Yorktown Jewish Center. The investigation led to the defendant being identified. It is alleged that the defendant, while working as the BINGO ball caller, violated the rules of casino gaming by allegedly changing the outcomes of multiple BINGO games. On August 9, 2018 at 10:53 AM, the defendant arrived at Yorktown Police Headquarters, where he was arrested for Gaming Fraud in the First Degree. The defendant was processed and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on September 11, 2018 at 6:00 pm to answer the charges. Comments are closed.
