Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 27 year old Bronx NY man who is charged with Robbery in the 1st Degree, a Class "B" Felony.
Yorktown Police report that on June 25, 2019 at approximately 10:08 PM, they received a 911 phone call from a man reporting he had just been robbed at gun point outside of his home by two males. Upon arrival, an investigation revealed that an ATV was stolen and a description of the two males, the stolen ATV and the vehicle was broadcast to all surrounding Police Departments. With the assistance of the Mount Pleasant PD, Westchester County Police and the Westchester County Real Time Crime Center, the ATV and involved vehicle were located. Westchester County Police recovered the stolen ATV and the one suspect that allegedly robbed the man at gun point was identified and arrested by Westchester County PD. The defendant was processed by Westchester County Police for the possession of stolen property and then transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters and processed on the above robbery charge. The defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Salvatore Lagonia who set bail at $25,000.00 cash or $50,000.00 bond. The defendant was unable to post bail and was remanded to the custody of the Westchester County Department of Corrections. He is due back in Yorktown Court on June 27, 2016 at 06:00 PM.
