Yorktown Police a 27 year old Bronx woman, who they charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor.
According to Police, on September 22, 2018 at approximately 10:00 PM, P.O. Hannigan was on routine patrol on Route 6 conducting business checks when he observed a suspicious vehicle parked at Orange County Pools, 1896 East Main Street. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was occupied by the defendant while the business was closed. PO Hannigan then approached the vehicle and the defendant began to act in a suspicious manner. After an investigation was conducted, it was discovered that the defendant had an active Bench Warrant out of Chestertown, NY by the New York State Police. The defendant was placed under arrest and found to be in possession of a quantity of heroin. She transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. At Police Headquarters, the defendant was processed on the above charge and released on $100.00 cash bail to the New York State Police. The defendant is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice on October 23, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
