Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 22 year old Brooklyn, NY resident who is charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree a class D Felony, Unlawful Possession of a Skimmer Device in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Failure to Keep to the Right and Expired Inspection, both Traffic Infractions.
On 05/29/2019 at approximately 9:49 PM, PO Hannigan while conducting routine patrol on Route 134 in the Town of Yorktown did observe a vehicle fail to keep to the right. PO Hannigan initiated a traffic stop and conducted an investigation. It is alleged that the defendant was found to be in possession of a skimmer device as well as a forged Pennsylvania Driver’s license and two forged credit cards. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. The defendant was processed at the Yorktown Police Department on the above charges. On 05/30/2019 the Defendant was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Lagonia who set bail at $5,000 cash. The defendant posted bail and was released and is scheduled to return to the Yorktown Justice Court on 06/04/19 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
