Brooklyn Man Arrested on Bench Warrant

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 45 year old Brooklyn man on a Bench Warrant issued by the Yorktown Justice Court for failure to pay a fine.
 
According to Police, on 5/3/2018 the defendant turned himself into the Yorktown Police Department for an open Bench Warrant issued by Judge Raniolo of the Town of Yorktown Justice Court. It’s alleged the defendant had an active bench warrant for failure to pay a fine in the Yorktown Justice Court on 12/07/2017. PO Doherty took the defendant into custody for arrest processing.
 
The defendant was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice court by Judge Raniolo who vacated the warrant after the defendant paid a fine.
