Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 19 year old Yorktown, NY resident who is charged with burglary in the 2nd degree, a class C felony and criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, a class E felony.
According to Police, on August 3, 2019 at about 6:02 AM, Officer David and Officer Vuoso responded for a report of a possible altercation in the area of 257 Fox Croft Lane. An investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant allegedly entered a dwelling without permission and intentionally damaged a glass door valued at $500.00. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and arraigned by Judge Raniolo, who issued an order of protection on behalf of the victims and set bail at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. The defendant was unable to post bail and was turned over to the Westchester County Department of Corrections. The defendant is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on August 8, 2019 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
