Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 26 year old Yorktown, NY resident who is charged with Burglary in the 2nd degree, a Class C Felony.
According to Police, on July 5th, 2019 at approximately 5:36 PM a Yorktown resident contacted the police department to report a past Burglary. Det. Swart and PO Premuto responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. Officers were able to identify the defendant, a relative of the victim, as a suspect. It is alleged that the defendant did enter the victim’s residence and steal property. On July 8 the defendant voluntarily surrendered herself to the Yorktown Police Department and was placed under arrest for Burglary in the 2nd Degree. She was processed on the above charge and arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Lagonia who released the defendant on her own recognizance. The defendant is scheduled to return to the Yorktown Justice Court on 07/23/19 at 6:00 PM Comments are closed.
