Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 44 year old Manhattan man who is charged with Criminal Possesion of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a Class A Misdemeanor as well as inadequate stop lamps, a violation.
On October 3, 2017 at about 10:45 pm while on routine patrol and conducting traffic enforcement, P.O. Hannigan observed a brown Honda allegedly being operated with inadequate stop lamps. P.O. Hannigan conducted a traffic stop of the 2003 Honda in the area of 3303 Crompond Road. It is alleged that the defendant was found to be in possession of Cocaine. The defendant was transported to Yorktown Police Department where he was processed on the above charges. He was released on $200.00 cash bail to a family member and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on November 2, 2017 at 6:00 pm for arraignment. Comments are closed.
