Corona Man Arrested, Charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child Following Reported Tobacco Sale7/31/2019
Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 42 year old Corona, New York resident who is charged with one count of Endangering the Welfare of a child in the second degree, a Class “B” Misdemeanor.
On July 12, 2019 at about 6:30 pm, Yorktown Police officers responded to a Yorktown residence to investigate a report of tobacco products being sold to a minor. Further investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly sold tobacco products to a 15 year old child on July 9, 2019 at approximately 5:45 pm. PO Doerr responded to 1925 Commerce Street and placed the defendant under arrest and transported him to Police Headquarters for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charge and later released on $200 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on August 15, 2019 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
