Yorktown Police report the arrest of an 18 year old Cortlandt Manor man, whose name is being withheld due to possible youthful offender status. The defendant is charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony.
On April 15, 2018 at approximately 7:10 pm Yorktown Police responded to a larceny complaint at a Yorktown residence. The defendant allegedly stole a credit card from the location. Officer Doherty and Det. Tausz were assigned to the case and conducted an investigation which revealed that the defendant allegedly possessed and used said credit card while at Ulta Beauty and H&M located within the Jefferson valley mall. Investigation was able to identify a suspect in the case. On May 8th 2018 at 3:50 pm the suspect voluntarily appeared at police headquarters at which time she was placed under arrest in reference to said incident. Following processing on the aforementioned charges the defendant was arraigned by Judge Lagonia who released her on her own recognizance. The defendant is scheduled to answer said charge in Yorktown Court on June 12, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
