Criminal Contempt

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 33 year old Mount Vernon, NY resident, who is charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a class A Misdemeanor.
 
On October 03, 2017 at approximately 07:58 PM, Yorktown Police received a call about suspicious people in the parking of DeCicco’s supermarket and P.O. D. Curtis was dispatched to investigate. Upon arrival an investigation on scene revealed that the defendant allegedly violated a duly served Yonkers City Criminal Court Order of Protection by having contact with the protected party.  The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.
 
The defendant was processed on the above charge and being held pending arraignment.
