Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 22 year-old Peekskill man, who is charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
On May 23, 2018, PO Curtin was dispatched to investigate a violation of a Temporary Order of Protection. PO Curtin responded to the Yorktown residence, met with the victim and conducted an investigation. It is alleged that from May 22, 2018 through May 23, 2018 the defendant did go to the home of the victim multiple times violating a valid Temporary Order of Protection. On June 5, 2018 the defendant voluntarily responded to the Yorktown Police Department and was placed under arrest for two counts of criminal contemptby Officer Campion. Following arrest processing, the defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Salvatore Lagonia in the Yorktown Justice Court. The defendant was released on his own recognizance and is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on June 26, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
