Yorktown Police report the arrest of 28 a year old Crompond man, who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor and Failure to Stop at a Steady Red Light, a traffic infraction.
Police report that on March 30, 2019 at approximately 1:15 AM, P.O. Vuoso observed a vehicle that failed to stop for a steady red light. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of cocaine. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and was released on $100 cash bail. He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on May 2, 2019 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
