Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 32 year old Danbury, CT resident who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 3rd Degree a Class A Misdemeanor, as well as Fail to Cover Loose Load, Unregistered Vehicle, and Operating without Insurance, all Traffic Violations.
According to police on May 23, 2019 at 3:10 PM Officer Tillistrand initiated a traffic stop on East Main St of a vehicle which allegedly had an uncovered and unsafely secured load on the roof. After a subsequent investigation it is alleged that the vehicle was unregistered and the defendant was operating the vehicle without insurance. It is further alleged that the temporary Texas license plate affixed to the rear of the vehicle was a forged document. The defendant was arrested at the scene and transported to the Yorktown Police Department where he was processed on the above charges. The defendant was released on $300.00 bail and is due to appear before the Yorktown Justice Court on June 25, 2019 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
