Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 30 year old Putnam Valley, NY resident who is charged with two counts of robbery in the second degree, a class C Felony.
According to police on June 30, 2019, at approximately 1:54 AM Officer Hannigan and Detective Shanahan responded for a report of a domestic incident that occurred on Campbell Road. An investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant allegedly forcibly stole the victim’s handbag and vehicle, causing her to sustain cuts on her elbow and pain in her wrist. Yorktown Police, with the assistance of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, located the defendant and the vehicle in Putnam Valley. The defendant was arrested and transported to police headquarters. The defendant was processed on the above charges and arraigned by Judge Lagonia. The defendant was released on his own recognizance and he is scheduled to answer said charges in the Yorktown Justice Court on July 11, 2019 at 6:00 PM Comments are closed.
