Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 51 year old Cortlandt Manor, NY resident who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or more, both Unclassified Misdemeanors, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License, an E Felony and backing unsafely a Traffic Infraction.
On October 19, 2019, at approximately 08:06 PM, Sgt. Rapisarda observed a vehicle that was allegedly backing unsafely down the Bear Mountain Extension ramp to the Taconic Parkway and initiated a vehicle and traffic stop. The defendant was identified as the operator and an investigation on scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated. Further investigation revealed that the defendant was allegedly operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more and was also charged for allegedly driving with a suspended license. The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters. Upon arrival at Headquarters the defendant was processed on the above charges and released on $200.00 cash bail to a responsible party. He is due back in Yorktown Court on October 29, 2019 at 06:00 PM. Comments are closed.
