Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 38 year old Mohegan Lake resident, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Intoxicated BAC .08% or More, both Unclassified Misdemeanors, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a Violation, Fail to Maintain Lane and Driving Left of the Pavement Markings, both Traffic Infractions.
Police report that on April 18, 2018 at approximately 2:38 AM, P.O. Battista observed a vehicle that allegedly failed to maintain the designated lane of travel. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated and in possession of a quantity of marijuana. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. Upon arrival at Headquarters, a further investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly operated his vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on May 3, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
