Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 22 year old White Plains, NY resident who is charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .18% or more, both unclassified misdemeanors and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor. He is additionally charged with moving from lane unsafely and uninspected motor vehicle both traffic infractions.
Police report that on December 15, 2019 at approximately 2:47 AM, Officers responded to the report of a property damage auto accident involving one vehicle. Officer Curtis located the vehicle and an investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated. It was further alleged that the defendant did move from his lane unsafely, have an uninspected motor vehicle and possess a quantity of Amphetamine and Dextroamaphetamine, a controlled substance. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. Upon arrival at headquarters, a further investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly operated his vehicle with a BAC of .18% or more. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released to a responsible third party. He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on January 7, 2020 at 6:00pm Comments are closed.
