Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 23 year old Danbury, CT resident who is charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or more, both unclassified misdemeanors. She is additionally charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, a class B misdemeanor and failure to keep right, a traffic infraction.
Police report that on August 11, 2019 at approximately 12:28 AM officers responded to a report of an erratic driver on Crompond Rd. The vehicle happened to pull into in the Yorktown PD parking lot where the vehicle had stopped. An investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant allegedly was driving while intoxicated, failed to keep right and left the scene of a personal injury accident on Crompond Rd. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. Upon arrival at headquarters, a further investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly operated her vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on her own recognizance to a responsible third party. She is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on August 22, 2019 at 6:00pm Comments are closed.
