DWI Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 25 year old Yorktown, NY resident, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC .18% or More, which are both Unclassified Misdemeanors.
 
According to Police, on January 28, 2020, at approximately 4:36 PM, PO Doherty, PO Campion and PO Rohr responded to a report of a person who was allegedly passed out while stopped at a red light.  Upon arrival they observed the vehicle on Bound Brook Lane with the alleged driver sitting in the driver’s seat.  After an investigation at the scene, it was determined that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. Upon the completion of processing the defendant was also charged with allegedly having a BAC greater than .18%.
 
Following processing on the above charges, the defendant was issued uniform traffic tickets and released on her own recognizance to a responsible party. The defendant is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on February 11, 2020, at 6:00 PM.
