Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 30 year old Cliffside Park, NJ, resident, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense, Operate a Motor Vehicle BAC .08 of 1% 1st Offense and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated Per Se with No Prior Convictions, which are all Unclassified Misdemeanors, as well as Failed to Use Designated Lane and Unlicensed Operator, both are Traffic Infractions.
On January 24, 2020, at approximately 3:14 AM P.O. Vuoso responded to a call of a vehicle rollover on Crompond Rd in the area of the Bill Volz lot. Upon arrival, he observed a male standing next to the rolled over vehicle that he identified as the operator. There were also 3 parked cars in the Bill Volz lot that had sustained damage due to the accident. After an investigation at the scene, it was determined that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated and without a driver license. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. Upon further investigation at Yorktown Police Headquarters, the defendant was charged with allegedly having a BAC over .18%. Following processing on the above charges, the defendant was issued uniform traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance. The defendant is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on February 6, 2020, at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
