Elmsford Woman Charged with DWI

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 30 year old Elmsford, NY resident who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Refusal to Take Breath Test and Cracked Windshield both Traffic Infractions. 
 
On 05/30/2019 at approximately 7:50 PM, PO Hannigan, while on routine patrol, observed a disabled vehicle stopped on Route 118 in the Town of Yorktown.  PO Fortunato responded to assist.  An investigation on scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated.  It is also alleged that the defendant did refuse to submit to a breath test and did operate a motor vehicle with a cracked windshield.
 
The defendant was transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters, charged with the above mentioned charges and subsequently released on her own recognizance, to a responsible party. She is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on 06/13/19 at 6:00 pm.
