Employee of Business Arrested, Charged with Larceny

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 38 year-old Peekskill, NY resident, who is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree, a Class D Felony.
 
On 12/10/2019, Yorktown Police received a report from Lowe’s alleging that an employee and a unknown individual has been stealing property.  P.O. Woodard was assigned to investigate.  Following an investigation, the suspect was identified and it is alleged that from 10/03/2019 to 10/29/2019, the defendant did steal property with a total value of $4,146.00.   
 
On 01/30/2020 at 4:00 PM the defendant voluntarily appeared at Police Headquarters where he was placed under arrest at 4:05 PM and processed on the above charge.  On 01/30/2020 at approximately 5:15 PM the defendant was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court, released on his own recognizance and is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on 2/18/2020 at 06:00 PM.
