Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 25 year old Jefferson Valley resident who is charged with False Personation, a class B Misdemeanor and Obstructing Governmental Administration in the second degree, a class A Misdemeanor.
On October 03, 2017 at about 07:58 PM, the Yorktown Police Department received a call about suspicious people in the parking lot of DeCicco’s supermarket. P.O. Curtis was dispatched to investigate. Upon arrival an investigation on scene revealed that the defendant allegedly provided Police with a fraudulent name while interfering with an official police investigation allegedly to prevent Officers from learning that an active Order of Protection had been violated. The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. At Headquarters, the defendant was processed on the above charges and released on $200.00 cash bail to a family member. The defendant is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on November 02, 2017 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
