Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 44 year old male from Cortlandt Manor NY, who is charged with driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction in 10 years, driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or more and aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, all class E felonies. The defendant is also charged with operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device, an unclassified misdemeanor.
Police report that on October 8, 2021 at approximately 2:28 AM, P.O. Uhl responded to the area of 3303 Crompond Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident. An investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated. It is further alleged that the defendant was operating a motor vehicle without a court ordered interlock device and while his driving privilege in New York was revoked for aggravated driving while intoxicated. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. Upon arrival at headquarters, a further investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly operated his vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more and had a previous conviction in the past 10 years for aggravated driving while intoxicated. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on his own recognizance to a responsible third party. He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on October 21, 2021 at 6:00pm Comments are closed.
