Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 43 year old Jefferson Valley, NY resident, who is charged with Attempted Assault in the 3rd degree, a Class “B” Misdemeanor.
On March 21, 2019 at approximately 3:30 PM, Officers responded to a residence in Yorktown to investigate a report of a physical domestic dispute. Police conducted an investigation and it is alleged that the suspect grabbed the victim by her hair and repeatedly hit her in the face and head causing the victim pain and allegedly attempting to cause her physical injury. The defendant was arrested at the scene and transported to Yorktown Police Department for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charge and arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Lagonia. The defendant was served a Temporary Order of Protection and remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond. The defendant is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on April 2, 2019 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
